Principal’s Note

Note from the Principal’s Desk

“Success comes to those who work hard and stay with those, who don’t rest on the laurels of the past.”

We live in a world that is so different from the one we grew up in, the one we are educated in. The world today is changing at such an accelerated rate and we as educators need to pause and reflect on this entire system of Education.

Education in the school should ignite the curiosity of the child and nourish the mind with ideas. Children are born with a sense of curiosity which needs to be fed with the diet of ideas. Education needs to sustain this curiosity while catering to the different levels of growth.

The school should be a secure pleasant and supportive environment, where all the members of the school should respect each other and treat others in the way they would want to be treated themselves. Are our schools well equipped to prepare our children to face the challenges that the future holds? Question such as these are factors that motivate us to go through a continuous process of reflection. Hence we at GPS, Bhopal work at implementing a well-balanced curriculum to ensure that the children who walk into the portals of our SCHOOL WILL NOT JUST LOVE THEIR SCHOOL YEARS BUT TRULY BE PREPARED TO FACE LIFE’S CHALLENGES.

Aristotle once said that, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” Even as we impart education to match the advancement in technology and globalization, our children march ahead with GPS ethos of moral value and principles. We endeavor constantly to instill these qualities in our children and as parents we expect you to be our partners in this venture.

We aim to actively support and monitor opportunities and are sensitive to the issue of race, gender, social background and culture. It’s truly said, “Everything once a helpless body, every oak once a corn, every mighty ocean once a ripple and every great structure once a blue print. It’s not where we are today, but where we are going that counts.”
